PRACTICAL BIBLICAL STUDIES 

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

A Practical Certificate in Biblical studies is the perfect way to start your education.  CFBC  is a specialty Bible College  with manageable classroom sizes and experienced instructors who have served or are serving in various capacities of ministry. Their personal experiences will help you get the most out of your investment.

CFBC offers a four-year college degree for students who wish to work towards their baccalaureate program. You will accrue 120 credit-hours of coursework comprised of 9 courses and 1 Ministerial Practicum at 3 credit hours each.

This course of study provides you with a solid biblical foundation through studying, interpreting and applying God’s word. It provides basic doctrinal and theological qualifications that prepares you to serve as an effective minister.

Upon meeting all the requirements for your first year of studies, you will be awarded a Diploma in Practical Biblical Studies and an Assisting Ministerial License to work in the various areas of the Five-Fold ministry or Ministry of Helps.

The Practical Biblical Studies is a core program and a prerequisite that designed to lay the foundation if you desire to pursue your Associate and Bachelor degrees.

Upon completing your first year, you will be awarded a Diploma in Practical Biblical Studies and an Assisting Ministerial License. You will be able to work within any specific area at your local church, or any church-related ministry under the supervision of your local Pastor or a Minister or Leader assigned by your Pastor.

All students must successfully complete their coursework with a passing grade, and Ministerial Practicum requirements, in order to be awarded their Ministerial License. You must complete a minimum of 72 hours of Ministerial Practicum, preferably in your specific area of study, or in any area of ministry.

Your Ministerial License will be renewed during our commencement ceremony. You have the option to become ordained in your major course of study or another specific area of ministry. You are required to make prior arrangements for the ordination ceremony with the President of the College.

 

When transferring credits to CFBC from another institution(s) of higher learning, you are required to have an official, sealed transcript mailed directly from the institution(s) to CFBC.

You are responsible for following up with the Academic Dean to determine whether all necessary transcripts have been received. You are also required to complete a minimum of thirty (30) credit hours in one of the CFBC programs toward your bachelor’s degree or graduation.
